Where to go from here
- Come on over, and get lost!
- Major sections are listed in sitemap. Begin there. There are also many sub-sections to peruse.
- Learning about this group starts with about. Learning about its people starts with people. Learning about this places starts with meta.
- Perhaps you are interested in becoming a member or a volunteer? What about contacting us via the mailing lists or IRC? What about learning about our participation with events or issues?
- You could, I suppose, try a random page. =)
Editing pages
- You can edit pages!
- Are you bothered by bad grammar or spelling? Do you have a quick correction to make or a link to fix? Would you like to adjust a topic to better suit your needs, or for later reference?
- If you choose to make a user and log in you are given immediate access to edit, and can also customize your surfing experience a little. Making a login is quick and easy and doesn't require email verification or even an email address.
- Not all articles are editable. If you find one which isn't please feel free to add a comment to its discussion tab.
- For more help on editing, visit the MediaWiki User's Guide, and specifically editing overview. We have our own notes in MediaWiki.
- Feel free to play around in our sandbox.
GTALUG needs speakers!
- Interested in doing a technical talk or tutorial at GTALUG?. Contact our talks coordinator Amos H. Weatherill via email.
Active wiki topics
- More recent entries are at the top, and as topics become more dated they'll eventually be removed from this list, unless they're needing semi-permanent mindshare.
- Talk:Meetings has had a stub-discussion started on the issues of more rigidly defining the style of meetings.
- Colin McGregor's pictures from the Linux World Canada show that were not used in the Linux Journal article.
- Visit Village pump and Talk:Main_Page for discussion on the look and feel of this place.
- Wish list needs to be fleshed out.
- Issues is a topic for Linux, free software and computing issues the group is interested in.
- Scott Elcomb's open thinktank, Psema4, needs more mindshare.
- Manifesto should be discussed and officiated.
- Seneca needs help with GTALUG Archaeology. See also Historical:Meetings.
- Administration will house group policies and such.
- Hardware Swap Meet Swap Hardware, Stories and So On.
