Description
Giles will start by talking about the history of Window Managers in Linux, including which WMs were influential, having their code or behaviour propagated throughout the WM world. This will be followed by demonstrations of some WMs, and discussion of which WMs do what best with some emphasis on the keyboard-friendly WMs. The hope is that this will provide attendees with some pointers to finding the perfect window manager for their own purposes.
