Topic Simple Firewalls for Home Networks

This is just a friendly reminder about the May meeting of NEWTLUG, the new users' special interest group of TLUG.
The meeting starts at 6:30pm, at the SMART Toronto Infotech Centre, 789 Yonge St. (just north of bloor).
The main topic of the meeting is "building a simple Linux firewall", presented by Tim Writer of Starnix.
We also have, tentatively scheduled, a discussion of "Linux high-speed Internet". Tim and others in our group have some experience with Rogers_at_Home and High-speed Sympatico. However, since the topic of firewalls and Linux security is of high interest and can be complex, this issue may take up the whole meeting.
Admission is free and all are welcomed.
