This month's NewTLUG meeting will be held Tues Oct 24th., at Seneca College on the YorkU campus.

Topics:
1) Unison: the file-synchronization tool (not the speaking-with-one-voice state ;-) - a tool for Unix and Windows. It allows two replicas of a collection of files and directories to be stored on different hosts (or different disks on the same host), modified separately, and then brought up to date by propagating the changes in each replica to the other.
2) A reprise of the OpenOffice.org demo/lecture paying special attention to the features in 2.0.4
3) Command Line 101: the process operators: && and || or as Matt says: 'an examination into shell truthiness'

2) Gerry Singleton - Gerry created and published the OpenOffice.org User Guide - the one that comes packaged with Open Office. He is Co-Lead of the current team that contributes documentation to the project. and Louis Suarez-Potts. Louis is the OpenOffice.org Community Manager and has broad overall knowledge of the OOo Project.
