Topic: NIS/OpenLDAP/Kerberos and Active Directory
We will look at the differences between NIS/OpenLDAP/Kerberos and Active Directory. Also; other essential Windows skills needed by Linux users in a mixed environment.
Presenter: Ansar Mohammed <ansarm@gmail.com>
Ansar works at Microsoft Canada in their consulting division (but is not in product marketing or sales ;-)) and has been a UNIX user for about 10 years.
Before migrating to Canada two years ago, Ansar worked for Microsoft in the Caribbean and was transferred to work at Microsoft here. He was also a vibrant member of the Linux users group in the Caribbean.
He has developed a freeware application that he has run on FreeBSD/Apache/PHP/Mysql for the past two years. He is a huge Asterisk fan and still maintains a IP pbx back in the Caribbean.

Directions:
Meet at the front entrance well before 7:00pm (6:30 recommended) to pickup your ID badge. At about 7:00 we'll be escorted to the auditorium. Some provision will be made for anyone arriving a little late.
Parking:
Free parking is available in the visitor parkade from 6:00pm to 11:00pm.
