A grass roots conference for Linux and Open Source right here in Ontario. The Ontario Linux Fest is a conference for all things Linux and Open Source.

Organizational Matters

  • Need to set up a committee to figure out "small, cheap table" arrangements for shows like this where we oughtn't be trying to have any sort of impressive booth - see BoothEngineering for more details.

This might coordinate well with others that might want to also put up small, inexpensive booths. PostgreSQL, Drupal, Python folks come to mind...

  • Need to coordinate a set of people to staff the booth
  • A hoped-for thing is for the GTALUG table to have, as handouts, business-card-sized cards that have a URL to somewhere within the GTALUG wiki, here, and to point at that as being a significant resource to help direct people that need help to local sources of information.
