About
As my experience with both Linux and Perl increased, I discovered that I could make Apache part of my daily Linux desktop work and hobby thing. I built a site[1] around the concepts, and called it a psema4.
I never really could articulate well what the semaphore connection meant. Generally speaking[2], it was how I discovered the libre in foss.[3]
It's a development environment that opens communication between all manner of professions, specialties, and interests.
Anyway, after reading this article by Sy, and tinkering with Mediawiki a bit, I've been playing with the idea of moving it here.
FAQ (Almost)
- Q: Why the p in the name?
- A: I have no idea, but it's silent. ;-)

Endnotes
[1]: Along with the version 1.0 f/loss t-shirt material, the original psema4 site was lost due to a faulty hard disk. What's left of that site sits on a friends wind::blows server. [2]: A tremendous generalization - there were lots of things going on last summer that played part. [3]: I'm relatively certain it was a post on the TLUG list (~ May-Aug '04) correcting my use of foss without the l. The description is clearer this way.
